July 25 is World Drowning Prevention Day. Drowning is Preventable. Check out the link in our bio for more info from the Kaua’i Lifeguard Association.

In classic community radio form, KKCR, in conjunction with the Kaua’i Lifeguard Association, has started a show called Deep Dive into Water Safety, to address this urgent need in our community and state. Hawaii has the second highest drowning rate in the nation.
