Not everyone can pull off that look. It takes a real feisty spirit to not just wear it, but to make it a way of life. Here's to our rescued black cats 🖤

Sad but true "Black Cat Syndrome" is something that's a harsh reality in rescue & animals shelters. To this day people have negative superstitions about blacks cats. Others spread a myth that black animals don't photograph well.
The truth is some people cannot accept amazing gifts into their lives, because they're not ready for anything magical to happen. ✨

Today we celebrate Black Cat Appreciation Day. Even though, Keep Up Creations loves cats in every color, size, and skill sets, once upon a time, it was a little black cat who began series of perspective changing events that would one day become Keep Up Creations handcrafted organic catnip toys. 😻

Learning to love something that's been overlooked and at the same time letting yourself learn to be loved is life-changing.

Throwing a little side-eye to remind you to not chase empty success or let it define you.

There are many things in life that may not get labeled specifically as successful milestones, but you know the truth. This is valuable 😻
Time spent with our loved ones and time spent with fur babies can be so rejuvenating to the soul. Silliness, cuddles, purrs, sing-songs of cute little "puurrl?" are irreplaceable.

Cats have a very big and very important job in our household.
So often that job is to remind us about what matters.
Compassion, silliness, time together, expressing our needs or desires, enjoying rest, finding someone else who also appreciates your hobbies and/or your art, and living well today.

Warning! This may surprise you, but if you are a middle child are a rare and endangered species. Modern American families are shrinking. On average there is no middle child in American households anymore. Even household with siblings (plural) are becoming less than normative.

In fact the average household is currently around 1.9 children.
While the average cats in a household are 1.8

All we're asking is for everyone to consider today, did you have siblings? Did you ever wish you had more siblings? Is time to adopt another cat?
Let's not be the generation where middle children are extinct. If all we can do is up the cat stats, then by-gum! Let's do it! Let's fight to keep middle children going.
