Hey everyone! 💕

We’re looking for a hair model for a class I’m hosting at Hairology By Heather on Monday, September 14th at 10 AM.

I’m looking for someone who has previously highlighted hair and is ready for a touch-up. Ideally, someone who still has some dimension in their hair, with a mix of darker and lighter pieces. I’m not looking for someone whose ends are already completely blonde.

This is a great opportunity to freshen up your highlights while helping us demonstrate techniques in class!

✨ Models do pay for the service, but it will be HALF PRICE since it is being done during the class.

Now that school is starting it’s time for the talk.

LICE- Lice are tiny, wingless parasitic insects that live on human hosts and feed on blood.

Types Of

Head louse:
Inhabits the scalp, eyebrows, and eyelashes, most commonly found behind the ears and at the neckline.

Body louse:
Lives in clothing seams and bedding, and moves to the skin to feed.

🔹Symptoms and Signs of Itching:
Caused by an allergic reaction to louse saliva.

Tickling sensation:
Feeling movement in the hair.

🔹Visible nits:
Tiny white, yellow, or brown eggs attached to the base of hair shafts, and won’t come off.

Sores or irritation:
Resulting from scratching the scalp.

🔹Transmission and CausesDirect contact:
Head lice spread primarily through direct head-to-head contact with an infested person's hair.

Shared items:
Rarely, they spread via shared hats, scarves, brushes, or combs. Wash all bedding and cotton material items and blankets.

🔹Hygiene myth:
Having lice is “not a sign of poor hygiene.” they like clean hair.

Before going to school every morning spray a tea tree mixture on their hair or keep hair louse from transferring.

🔹Mixture recipe

1/2 water
10-15 drops of Pure Tea Tree oil.

Shake well and spray all over hair
