On August 19th in New York State…the 2nd Annual Balloons Under The Moon event takes place in the town of Granby as one of the summer’s most memorable events! Glowing hot air balloons light up the night sky starting around 7:30PM, creating the kind of view you’ll want to sit back and take in from a blanket or lawn chair. Earlier in the evening, you can walk right up to the balloons, watch them up close, and check out balloon art, live music, and a fire performance around 8PM. It’s as much a fun festival as it is a chance to see hot air balloons, with food trucks serving BBQ, hot dogs, and sweet treats, plus vendors and family activities like bounce houses. Admission is free, and no reservations are needed. The event runs from 5PM–9PM at Don Butler Park (300 Chase Rd), with free shuttle service available from local parking areas throughout the evening.
