History Casting Provides historic reenactor extras for film and TV, as well as consulting and location assistance fo

Casting historic reenactors for use as background actors in film and television projects, finding consultants, and assisting in finding locations and major props. We have worked on projects such as "We Shall Remain" (PBS), "Ben Franklin" (PBS), "The Patriot" (Sony), "Mystic River" (Warner Bros.) "Half Pint" (Indie), "Slave Catchers" (History Channel), "The Trial of Capt Werz" (History Channel), "The War that Made America" (PBS), "CMT Got Me in with the Band" (CMT), and more.

Currently casting WW2 vintage civilian reenactors with their own period correct wardrobe & hair for a shoot at the Museum of Work & Culture in Woonsocket RI on Sunday March 11.

This is a short no budget black & white film for film festivals.
Compensation: screen credit and coffee/water provided.

Casting for 2 scenes (no dialogue):

Living Room: Mom, Dad, teenage girl and young boy listening to FDR on the radio.

Classroom: Teacher and a few students put a wartime poster about saving rubber.
