Heart Life Music shares the stories of a kid from small town East Tennessee with a dream fueled by the sports and music around him. When high school football came to an end, he knew there must be something more. In college, Kenny Chesney found himself on a barstool with a guitar and an unexpected connection between people, life and songs. His heart caught fire. With Nashville’s vibrant creative scene, characters, legends and places now long gone from the city he encountered in those early days, Chesney explores the quest to find himself as an artist and a man, as well as a sense of home anywhere there’s an ocean. These are the stories of the unlikely game changer who became the sound of coming of age in the 21st century, made friends with his heroes, rocked stadiums, and founded a No Shoes Nation.

🎉 Congratulations to our Week 8 Cat Country 98.1 Athlete of the Week — Phoebe Morgan! ⚽💜

Phoebe is a senior at Smithfield High School (Go Lady Sentinels!) who embodies strength, heart, and determination both on and off the field. 💪 After undergoing treatment for Hodgkin’s lymphoma since March, Phoebe had her last treatment on September 3rd and was back playing her first full game just six days later — talk about unstoppable! 🙌

Her love for soccer and her team has kept her strong, and she continues to inspire her community. 💜 Last month, Phoebe and her teammates held a Purple Out Event to raise money for the Tomorrow Fund Clinic and the 76 Foundation, two organizations that have supported her family through her journey.

Let’s give Phoebe some major love and cheers — she’s a true champion in every sense of the word! 👏⚽💜
