Loan forgiveness is good but not looking into the root of student loan debt is a problem. The fact that people can come out with thousands in loans debt, then start a job with wages that are below the cost of living seems like a set up for failure. The fact that we expect students to pay loans back as well as save for a home and build a life is DEFINITELY problem. I believe student loans should have a cap once in default. When there seems to be no end to paying student loans it lowers morale and doesn't motivate people to keep paying when their other needs are a priority. Student loan forgiveness programs were not successful. There are other ways to fix this problem.

It's her absolute tenacity to continue to campaign with me. She rings bells and puts my flyer on the doors. She encourages me by asking “how bout this house Mommy?" One more house is never enough. I think she just doesn't want to go home to bed😀😄😀

🍔Food Truck Friday 🌮was amazing and a pleasure to be there surrounded by community, food, and music!

I love attending these events that bring everyone together regardless if it is within my district or not because I want to be engaged within the community anyway I can.

I get so immersed in conversation with my constituents that I forget to take pictures. Canvassing has definitely been one of my favorite parts of this campaign. I can't wait to attend all the neighbor invitations to cookouts, festivals, band performances. As well as learn about the other interests and talents District 5 resident have. Rhode island certainly is full of potential to get to that next level!
