Oh, hi!
After this happened today, I realized I can’t hide any more.
Your East End European finally got back to Provincetown despite the pandemic and had been enjoying ’s one-of-a-kind shows with superb pleasure for almost a month now.
However, when Gary played “The Joy of Lina” by Ihsan Al Munzer in his show tonight, something in this dormant radio broadcaster (me, that is) woke up, as you can tell from the video.
For those of you who are not yet familiar with Bulgarian language, here’s a rough translation:
“That’s it! I am tearing my clothes apart! I am even throwing my hat!” (an ancient Bulgarian tradition while listening to a life-changing tune on the radio).
“This is Provincetown’s radio, maina” (an honorable title, similar to “dude”, given to people born in the city of Philibelphia/Plovdiv like yours truly.) “There is no radio more glorious than ! There. Is. Not. This is an epic moment, the greatest sunset I have had on Cape Cod!“
So (as ironic as it may sound) stay tuned, fellow lovers of the sacred direction of the rising Sun! The East End European show is lurking behind the horizon after a loooong night! 🌞
