Don't ever believe the words of this stupid man.
Kids with autism become great adults. They don't only have jobs, they contribute to society and many become the advocates for the next generation. Some may need more support than others; but don't we all need support sometimes.

"There’s a way to talk about autism without stripping autistic people of their humanity. Calling kids burdens who’ll never 'contribute' isn’t policy, it’s ableist."

🫂Inside Out 2 continues to open doors to communication. Children will be able to learn about their emotions and the changes that come with puberty, peer pressure and self esteem. Adults will remember this stage. In many instances it is funny and others are very thought provoking. I would recommend that once you watch it have a conversation with your family.

1. What lessons did you learn from the movie?
2. Can you describe a scene that made you think deeply about your own experiences?
3. How do you think the main character's journey can apply to your own life?
4. What are some ways we can use what we learned from the movie in our daily lives?

Yesterday, I had the emotional experience of watching 'Inside Out 2.' I highly recommend that all families and anyone who works with teens take the time to watch this impactful movie.
