3 Day camping trip at the Infamous "haunted" Phantom Canyon Road...👻🏕
Colorado state---

The Executed Prisoner: The road’s most famous legend involves an inmate from the nearby Colorado State Penitentiary.
In the 1890s, train passengers on the Florence and Cripple Creek Railroad reportedly saw a man in a prison uniform walking along the tracks....The chilling detail: the man had been executed at the prison just days prior.

Tormented Miners: During the gold boom, violent disputes between miners and mining companies led to gunfights, deliberate mine collapses, and bombings.
Visitors today claim to see the spirits of these victims lurking in the shadows or near the remains of old mining structures.

The First Train Death: On the railroad’s opening day in 1894, a train derailed, resulting in the death of a passenger. Some believe this initial tragedy set a dark tone for the canyon.

Eerie Audio: Reports of disembodied moans, screams, and the sound of phantom footsteps are common.

Visual Apparitions: Dark figures are often spotted in the tunnels or standing near the sheer 500-foot drop-offs.

Residual Energy: Some visitors describe an overwhelming feeling of being watched or a sense of "doom" in certain sections of the canyon.
