Although a few a miles outside of Giles County, Pea Ridge Farm is an amazing community business! Located on East Prospect Road, just south of Fayetteville, TN, this family farm grows such beautiful produce and does free home delivery (within 35 miles). Check out this box of delicious goodies AND I didn’t have to get two babies out the door!

This is for all the local mamas, no matter how old or young your babies are! The Breastfeeding Support Group of Pulaski, TN is hosting Mommas Munchkins & Milk next Saturday (8/6). This is a FREE event with lunch, vendors, and speakers! Whether you are breastfeeding or not, this event is a great way to meet other mamas and celebrate motherhood!

WEEKEND ROUNDUP | This Saturday, the Giles County Public Library & Pulaski Parks and Recreation Department is hosting a movie in the park & some amazing STEM activities, as well as JWST First Images. It begins at 6:00 and lasts until 9:30!

If you are unfamiliar with JWST, fear not (I was too!). JWST stands for James Webb Space Telescope. These images’s color and detail is unfathomable. In addition to the showing of the images & movie, there will be activities for kids to participate in beforehand! Food Trucks, including Kona Ice, will be parked, so make a day of it!

In addition, there will be two farmers markets tomorrow: Pulaski & Lynnville,. The Martin Movie Theater will be showing “Thor: Love & Thunder” for the final weekend at 2:00 PM & 7:00 PM. The Sunday matinee starts at 2:00 PM.

Happy Sunday everyone! We spent yesterday evening picking blackberries, and nothing beats a fresh, off-the-vine berry 🌿 Comment below your FAVORITE local farms!

Be sure to check out The Local Farmer in Pulaski! They have lots of local products stocked, such as Merritt Popcorn Co., Flowers Creamery, Oh Peas Farm, and Gracefield Grown. Also, be sure to check out the local farmers’ markets around the county!

Such a tragedy for our community! Our hearts hang heavy with Kitchen 218 💔

Our hearts are so incredibly heavy this morning. We lost the most precious member of our K218 family. Destinee was the biggest ray of sunshine and we felt so privileged to have her here. We are all so lucky to have known her and had the opportunity to work with her. We ask that you keep her family in your prayers and help support them in any way that you are able. ❤️

Tomorrow morning, the Community RFD -Rural Food Delivery- will be having a pop-up food drive. The drive will begin at 8:00 am until the food runs out! RFD will be handing out boxes at the Old Sharp Motor Building (216 N First Street, Pulaski).

The RFD is looking for volunteers to not only help distribute food, but pack boxes, sort deliveries, and more!

You don't have to drive out of town to experience nature! Tomorrow morning, the Giles County Public Library is hosting David Crane, an officer for the TWRA, for a Creek Walk. The walk will commence at Pleasant Run Creek at Sam Davis Park. As an added bonus, the high tomorrow is only 89! 😅
