About 100 citizens, district staff members and students attended the third in a series of public engagement sessions Wednesday night at PHS regarding possible Pulaski Community School District facilities upgrades including Career and Technical Education spaces (business, Family and Consumer Science and agriscience), fitness center, wrestling space, tennis courts, pool, indoor sports complex and practice fields.
Supt. Allison Space and Clinton Selle, executive vice president/architect at Bray Architects, and other district leaders walked those in attendance through district facilities and where improvements are needed and showed what new similar facilities in other districts look like. Following the session, facility tours were offered to those who attended so they could see firsthand the areas that are up for possible renovations.
The sessions are held to give community members the chance to speak directly with and give their perspectives to district officials regarding facilities. The district is still in the listening stage. Another similar engagement session is set for Jan. 14, 2026. Afterward, the district will send out a survey to gather solid numbers on what community members would like to see or not see should a referendum be put to vote.

In recent months, the district completed a building project that included improvements at all seven district schools with the major projects being an enlarged PHS Technical Education wing and expansion and renovation projects at Sunnyside and Hillcrest elementary schools. Public feedback to those projects has been positive.
