This morning Bill and Evan discussed Pullman Building Supply's decision to close the store and the void it will leave in Pullman, not only for hardware and building supplies but also for equipment rentals and small engine service. The Garretts invested a lot to bring that store to Pullman and its closure amounts to cutting their losses, a difficult business decision, if inescapable. I, for one, wish them well and thank them for trying to make a go of it here. Big loss for the Pullman community.

Rush Limbaugh didn't force anybody to listen to him. He provided information, entertainment, and an uncomplicated proud-to-be-an-American perspective that attracted listeners to him - by the tens of millions.

No coercion. No bribery. Nothing but the opportunity provided in the land of opportunity and talent (on loan from God).

If the right performs better at it, the left would be wise to ask why, and not blame the messengers for losses at the ballot box.
