Driver Of Stolen Pickup Eludes Arrest In Moscow Early Sunday Morning After Getting Stuck In Playfield

April 1, 2024 Evan Ellis News

Someone eluded Moscow Police in a stolen pickup after getting stuck in a playfield and leading officers on a pursuit through residential neighborhoods early Sunday morning.

Officers tried to pull over the driver of a pickup that was stolen out of Clarkston around 4:00. The driver led police on a chase speeding through residential areas. The suspect drove into Oylear Field near Moscow Middle School and got stuck in the mud. The driver fled on foot and escaped.

Moscow Police believe the case might be related to a station wagon that was stolen from the area of Park Drive nearby from Sunday morning. There was also a vehicle burglary near Grant and 1st Streets around the same time.

Anyone with information about the case or who saw anything suspicious in the area from Sunday morning is asked to contact the Moscow PD.
