Throughout my childhood, my father went largely unrecognized, unappreciated, and overlooked. However, as I stepped into the role of a father myself, he transformed into the most precious treasure in my life. He consistently stood by my side, offering unwavering support and serving as an extraordinary wellspring of motivation. He imparted invaluable lessons on how to navigate life, excel in work, embrace love. and serve God. While we all have a finite existence, my father's objective was never to live eternally. Instead, he left behind an eternal legacy that will forever be cherished. Dad, I love you dearly. That you so much for leaving your story

Today in observance of the National Day of Prayer, I’m remined of the importance of prayer. As a parent, losing a child is an unimaginable tragedy. It goes against the natural order of life, leaving you with a deep sense of loss and emptiness. Losing my son was never part of my life’s plan. With his death, I lost dreams and many plans together, many that I hadn’t voiced to anyone. There is only one who really knows my pain and through power of prayer God is constantly sharing with me, loving on me and reminding of the fullness of his joy.
“Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, and he brought them out of their distress. He stilled the storm to a whisper; the waves of the sea were hushed. They were glad when it grew calm, and he guided them to their desired haven”
Psalms 107:28-30
The power of prayer is real and accessible to all who call upon the name of the Lord. As Christians, we have a unique opportunity to impact the world through our prayers and see God’s power in action. By making prayer a priority and cultivating a strong prayer life, we can experience the transformative power of prayer in our own lives and in the world around us. So let us not neglect the incredible gift of prayer that God has given us, but rather embrace it wholeheartedly and watch as miracles unfold before our eyes.

Today Dad, I’m thinking of the time when you shared with me what you thought heaven was going to be like. Now you have been there for four years as of today, with an ever-increasing joy, I know that you are still discovering the things that God has prepared for you. Dad, Thank You for sharing your faith with me. I hope you now understand how much that meant to me especially this last year. You always reminded me that life it's not always in your hands or things don't always go the way you dreamed. But put your faith in Jesus, he has a plan for you, follow his word and always believe in yourself no matter what happens. Love you and miss you every day Dad.
