In our latest interview, Andrew Stone describes Oklahoma as “the most interesting place in the world.” We like the sound of that.

Through his tireless efforts to breathe new life into historic, yet forgotten spaces, Andrew is showcasing just how special our home state is, all while lending a creative hand to its future — for all of us.

His most recent endeavor, led by his company Ocra Projects, is the Hydro Bridge Monument: an interactive installation repurposing a historic Route 66 bridge, retired nearly 15 years ago.

Check out our story, which shares our collective past and bright hopes for the future, at the link in our bio.

Our upcoming story took us to southwestern Oklahoma, spending most of our day on Route 66 and passing this still-standing piece of American history.

The Glancy Motor Hotel opened in Clinton, Oklahoma as The Glancy Courts in 1939 by Chester and Gladys Glancy. This historic Route 66 figure has gone through many names, renovations and stages, now abandoned.

The next stage, to tear down or to find an investor and renovate, is a hotly debated topic, with the potential of demolition approaching faster all the time.
