This episode has a happy ending! Not long after this, Georgia passed a Reasonable Childhood Independence law, making it clear that letting kids walk to school, play outside, or stay home for a short time is not neglect.

No proof would be required for this process to take place.

This week, we're talking with Lenore Skenazy, president of Let Grow. She has excellent insight on the impact that overpolicing our children has on their development and mental health - including some thoughts on the connection to screen use. The solution: let kids go outside!
