The Ohio Island Wine Festival will be held at our partners, Heineman Winery's front lawn, on
Saturday, June 21, 2025. There will be 12 or more wine/grape or preserve themed baskets with
an island touch for silent auction or raffle. Proceeds from some of the baskets will go to the Put-in-Bay em
Township Park District or the Lake Erie Islands Conservancy. Come have fun and enjoy some
Ohio wine for a good cause! Will accept donated items toward the baskets as well! Call Kendra

HUGE NEWS FOR 2025!! Early renderings have been released for a NEW resort located at Oak Point State Park. Michale Ipucak, superintendent of the state parks, tells us the resort will be large enough to handle up to 500 guests. It will feature waterside cabanas, a new dock with floating cabanas, palm trees, artificial sand and a tiki hut. Michale tells us the floating cabanas will be a great source of revenue as they are considered temporary and not subject to bottom rights leases, which can be very costly. Check for progress on this resort in the coming months as construction is set to begin this month and be completed by Memorial Day 2025.
