: unborn chicks!

I always check our hatching eggs at the end of our incubation. by day 21, nothing will make it in my experience, but it's good to investigate what happened.

we bought these eggs on special from a new farm, and I didn't have as many hatch as I expected.

we did travel in a car with these on day 16, so excess movement may have played a toll in some of these babies not hatching on day 17-20.

We hatched Coturnix Quail at the Puyallup fair!
but now they are in the Brooder and 3 days old :) ❤️

we will be hatching Quail again during the Homestead Expo 2027!
