The American Legion Post 242 Quakertown has announced that Quakertown's Memorial Day Parade on Monday has been CANCELED due to impending rain. However, the Memorial Day Ceremony at the War Memorial on Mill Street (across from the pool) will take place as planned at 10AM - rain or shine.

Enjoy the parade along Broad Street and attend the ceremony to honor the fallen at the War Memorial on Mill Street. The parade begins at 9AM with the ceremony to follow.

Do you have an hour or so to volunteer on the evening of Wednesday, May 20? The American Legion Post 242 Quakertown is looking for volunteers to place flags on our soldiers graves in Union Cemetery, Quakertown. Meet at the cemetery.
Rain date: Thursday, 21 May at 6:30PM.

Dr. Robert Leight, educator and community icon, passed away on Sunday, May 17.
He has touched so many lives, blazed trails in education that will live on forever in the hearts, minds, and institutions in our community and around the world. He shared his knowledge and volunteered selflessly, always with a smile and great humility.

Truly an inspiration. He will be missed! 😞
