Meet a True American Hero – This Friday at NAS Wildwood Aviation Museum

After active duty, including service at the Pentagon, he built a 28-year career at IBM, worked in education at SAP, and has since become a passionate advocate for veterans as the Director of Veterans Services at St. Joseph’s University. He’s also taught at multiple universities, served as Veterans Liaison for Delaware County, and volunteered with the USO, Special Olympics, and more.

Ralph’s story is the kind that stops you in your tracks.

A decorated Vietnam War veteran, Ralph served as a Weapon Systems Officer aboard the F-4 Phantom. In 1972, he was shot down over North Vietnam and spent 14 months as a Prisoner of War in Hanoi before being repatriated in 1973. His military decorations include:

⭐ The Silver Star
🎖 Bronze Star with Valor
💜 Purple Heart (with Oak Leaf Cluster)
✈️ Air Medal (with four Oak Leaf Clusters)
…and many more.
