Oh!! I love this time of year!!
After months of snow, wind, and waiting, tiny wildflowers have begun to bloom across the hillsides. Patches of yellow, purple, pink, and white now peek out from between the rocks, as if the mountains are waking up and stretching after a long winter nap.

It's amazing how something so small can completely change the landscape. One day it's rugged stone and sagebrush, and the next it's a living quilt of color dancing in the breeze.

Standing there among the blooms, I couldn't help but think about how much beauty can come after a season of waiting. The flowers don't rush. They bloom when the time is right, turning the mountains into a reminder that growth often happens quietly before it ever becomes visible.

Today, the mountains are wearing their summer colors, and what a beautiful sight they are. 🌸⛰️

We have had a good few days off. I was off line most of the day yesterday and we just enjoyed the day. Tracy took me to the Challis Hot Springs, it was sooo nice!

We are back at the Dredge this morning through Saturday, then Custer ghost town on Sunday.
