The 2016 trend is making me reflect back on the past 10 years of being a videographer + filming weddings and I had to put together a post with some of my favorite moments throughout the years 🥲 I filmed my first wedding at the end of 2015 which made 2016 my first full year doing videography full time, so this year will forever hold a special place in my heart 🖤
flew me out to Chicago at the beginning of the year at 16 years old having hardly any experience at all to film a hair class they were hosting, and ended up hiring me full time to film videos for until I graduated high school. I spent the entire year upgrading my gear and they gave me the experience + confidence to better my craft and my talents the entire time I was there. This quickly snowballed into filming weddings for the girls working at the salon and my entire wedding career was born from there. 🥺
I never take this year and my time filming for for granted, and owe so much of what I have today to and to her husband, Rich. I also don’t take lightly every single person who has ever referred me in the past 10 years and want all of you to know how much it means to me!!
It’s mind blowing to me that it’s been over 10 years now, and somehow it only feels like the beginning of my career, so thank you to every couple that has ever been apart of my journey and to those who will hire me in the future. I’m consistently learning and growing every year and cannot wait to make these next 10 years the best years yet.
Post inspired by my fav 🫶🏻
