We want to treat one lucky school’s teachers to a FREE supply of Frios pops to kick off the year on a sweet note. We’ll stock the freezer in the teachers’ lounge so the staff can enjoy a gourmet treat to welcome them back!

🍎 📚✏️ Curriculum Night at Cortina on August 7th from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM is an incredible opportunity for parents to dive deep into what your child will be learning this year, understand homework expectations, and discover how you can support their growth at home. With presentations by grade-level teachers at 5:30 PM and 6:15 PM across various classrooms, you’ll get valuable insights tailored to your child’s needs. Let’s talk about Redwoods and how they pertain to our PTO! They are incredibly strong and resilient trees and here’s why!

Redwood trees offer a powerful analogy for unity, strength, and interconnectedness. Their shallow roots, while seemingly a weakness, intertwine with those of neighboring trees, creating a network that provides stability against strong winds and other environmental challenges. This interconnectedness mirrors the importance of community and mutual support in human life, highlighting how relying on and supporting one another can lead to greater resilience and success.

🧡🖤 Thank you to everyone who took the time to come to our meeting tonight and meet Mr. Loutzenheiser, discuss the override as well as our PTO business! We are so excited to continue to build our community and see what amazing things we will do together this school year! Mark your calendars, 9/2 is our next meeting!
