It was a warm day in Saturday February 22nd with the 103rd Precinct closing the street for the Dignitaries & 5 Red Carpet Show Hosts

Filmmakers from 7 States flew in and interim Queens Borough President Sharon Lee made the Opening Remarks, Senator Leroy Comrie presented the Community Awards and Councilman Daneek Miller greeted Guests in the Lobby, President Dale David’s/ Greater Jamaica Merchants Chamber and President Oster Bryan, St. Albans Civic Association manned the ticket desk with other group members

B2B Check In & Check Up. How is everything doing? This is quite the challenge and we know that so many of us businesses, entrepreneurs and creatives are truly struggling right now.🙏🏽

Not only will we get through this- but let’s come back better, stronger and bigger.

We’re reviewing and revamping everything- back to the beginning, back to basics - especially before the warm weather kicks in!

Our first one is Paperwork Friday’s and paying ourselves even if it’s just $20 per week

Which is a Reminder- get those taxes done early this year and pay closer attention to expenses vs revenue vs deductions. The Extension is nice, but on time is better so when the quarantine is lifted you can focus on Sales and Exceptional Customer Service.

In education they used to call it “Understanding By Design”. Determine what Outcome you want then design Efficient Steps to get there.

Kinda like the end of the Bible - God Wins - Your going to Win - now what’s the best way to get there?

-What do you really need?
-Who do you really need?
-Realistic Time Table
-Can you turn Water Into Wine (resources & faith)
-Sometimes you have to go back to basics (plans, manners, skills, ideas, habits, character, purpose, etc.)

Stay Encouraged Entrepreneurs!
For those who have physical locations we are really praying for you

It was rough before we closed our space in June. It no longer met our needs -we’re essentially a film festival, showcase and pop up market model with a cable show that’s becoming a channel- whew, that’s a lot.

But I remember several people saying the Goal (stated in the Bible) is:

7 Streams of income

This my prayer for us Entrepreneurs: 7 Streams of Profit and lower Taxes- let us Triumph through this and come out o the other side with 7 Streams

As we go through this challenge, I hope that all are praying for small businesses, especially those with a storefront.

And let’s keep in my that small businesses often have a very real advantage over large businesses. The Entrepreneur can make changes rather quickly without having to have a lot of departments weigh in. If this pandemic should last longer than anticipated- what can you do to not only survive but soar?!
