We are happy to announce The Bolt Productions is collaborating with St. John’s SOAR: The Sexual Violence Outreach, Awareness and Response Office, to publish our newest Thunderbolt Newspaper edition. They will be submitting a very informative article on healthy relationships that everyone should check out once our edition is published! Thanks to SOAR guide Salvatore Guimaraes, who has been very helpful and worked with our team to help make this happen! SOAR strives to “reduce the traumatic impact of sexual and dating violence by providing students with tools they need to build healthy relationships.”
Along with SOAR, we have a few of our talented writers who will be submitting pieces on themes ranging from sports, poetry, school life, advice, quotes, cooking, and entertainment. Be sure to stay tuned for the newest edition of The Thunderbolt as we have fully transferred to St. John’s wonderful Queens Campus. Publication Date TBA (sometime in April), so stay tuned!
Sincerely, The Bolt Productions Executive Board: Will, Rita, Vincent and Nick.

Earlier this week, Bolt member had the chance to attend and take photos at a law school info session, he had this to say about the event:

“The Law Info Session was an enjoyable experience through the entire way, and it offered a lot of valuable insight for those interested in choosing law school. It was nice to hear from the moderators as they offered their own advice, while also answering important questions that students had. Some topics that were discussed were the key aspects of a law school application and advice for Letters of Recommendation and personal statements. Additionally, it was reassuring to hear that St. John’s Law is very supportive and welcoming, as well as seeing how the moderators truly care about the students that want to take part in this field. Overall, the St. John’s Law info session was worth attending and was a great opportunity for those who look to take part in law school.”
