Progress update! 🔨 The framing and stairs for the double-decker deck are officially done. Still got some finishing touches and yard cleanup to go, but having that top covered porch is going to be so worth all the sawdust. Now… to stain it natural cedar or go with a dark walnut?

Backyard makeover in full swing! 🪵✨ The pergola is up, the main deck boards are down, and the steps are taking shape. Can already picture the string lights and weekend barbecues out here once it’s all wrapped up.

Rafters and deck boards are in, railings are going up, and next step is getting the roof decked and dried in before the rain rolls through. This is going to be the ultimate spot for morning coffee once it’s all tied into the house.

From framing to the grand reveal! 🔨✨ Those flared bottom steps completely transformed the entrance, and the tongue-and-groove ceiling with the dual ceiling fans gave it that perfect rustic-modern touch.

Definitely worth every cut and measurement to get that staircase symmetry just right. Now all that’s left is some landscaping and outdoor seating for porch season!
