It’s first issue Friday! So I’m showing off the first issue in one of my favorite series The Superior Spider-Man! This was such an great story! Although it was quite controversial at the time of its release, mainly because .slott himself was telling people this was a permanent change to the character and there was no going back. Through excellent storytelling and the development of Otto’s character it won over long time fans who were critical of the change and, stands out as some of Dan Slott’s best work. I can’t mention this book without mentioning how awesome the artwork by is. His Spider-Man is immediately recognizable and it was so nice to see him revisit the character during the recently released Absolute Carnage. I just hope the comic gods will smile upon this Spider-Man fan and bring these two back together at so that I can get them to sign my copy.
