IT'S TIME TO BRING IT BACK.
We've watched Hip-Hop change, grow, and become one of the biggest forces in the world. But through all that growth, I believe we lost some things along the way.
We lost some of the places where people could really talk Hip-Hop. Where DJs had a voice. Where we could debate the music, talk about what's happening in the streets, discover something new, and still respect the music and people that built this culture.
So they're doing something about it.
BRING IT BACK our new radio show is coming to SIHH Radio every Wednesday at 6PM EST.
Blendmasta, alongside Pistol Pete — The Radio Barber, are bringing real conversations, Hip-Hop culture, classic and new music, the streets, artists, real topics and everything happening around the culture to one place. We're even bringing back R&B.
And understand something — Bring It Back doesn't mean we're stuck in the past.
We're bringing back the things that made Hip-Hop special while giving today's music and the next generation a place to be heard.
Blendmasta is a DJ from the mixtape era and Pete was in the middle of everything in that era. So they both know what it means to search for records, find something before everybody else knows about it, put people onto music, and watch a record grow.
That's the energy we're bringing back.
This is bigger than another radio show to me. It's part of what we're building with SIHH Radio.
The DJs are coming back.
The conversations are coming back.
The discovery is coming back.
The mixtape is coming back.
The culture is coming back.
And we're starting where Hip-Hop has always been strongest:
