Sometime in the late 1990s, on the tail end of a particularly intense mushroom hunting trip, I somehow hitched a ride to a party out Deer Ridge Road where I was assured a spectacle awaited like nothing I had ever witnessed or ever would again. As I took a seat on a terrace, nestled in amongst some ancient pines the jumbo tron began to flicker. Softly at first, but then from its pale and mottled glow a collection of A list celebrities paid tribute to the greatest band the world has ever known.
As the band took the stage I knew I would never be the same.
I was correct.
I was honored when the Maulers invited me out to their secret compound to give Q’d Up just a little taste of what god-like talent looks like. If your face is at risk of melting, scroll on.
