Massage guns might seem helpful, but without proper training, they can cause more harm than good.

Horses have muscles, sensitive nerves, and closely connected tendons and bones that all work together as an integrated system. A well-trained EMT can identify the root cause of a problem, which is essential when addressing any physical issues. Without a solid understanding of equine anatomy and proper training, using a massage gun incorrectly or on the wrong area can irritate healthy tissue, create new problems, worsen existing injuries and pain, and ultimately fail to provide a real solution.
