It’s a savage thing, looking back to 2017 — those feral early days when we didn’t even have a classroom. We were squatters in Case Theater, sneaking in between performances like outlaws chasing light and sound.
I still remember that first year, when Fox News rolled in to do a piece on us. Some anchor in a suit asked what kind of gear we were packing. I told him: two Canon cameras, but only one lens. We howled like mad dogs. That was the truth — raw, stripped down, guerrilla filmmaking at its finest.
Now? We’ve got an office, actual gear, and a roster of alumni charging into the world as photographers and filmmakers. The machine is moving, the wheels are greased, and the story keeps unfolding.
We’ve come a hell of a long way — but the road is still winding, dangerous, and beautiful. The new school year is around the bend, and we’re ready to rip it open and see where this strange, electric adventure takes us next.
