My agent called, I got a gig, BUT it was a remote directed gig... NOT my favorite thing (CERTAINLY not, as with most things in life, as far as I'm concerned, a "by committee" situation).

So, 2 days ago, I sat in my booth, in front of an audience of about 10, via MS Teams, doing my best "Morgan Freeman" (which is what they wanted)... And it was an ABSOLUTE love-fest, start-to-finish... They couldn't say enough good things to and about me and (if my NDA allowed it), I couldn't say enough good things about them.

The moral of this story: No 2 sessions (directed or not) are alike. Come in and bring your best 'you'... Or, in this case, your best Morgan Freeman.

James Darren, who starred in 'Gidget,' 'Star Trek: Deep Space Nine' and 'T.J. Ho**er,' died Monday. He was 88.
