Healing with the simple pleasures in life like iced coffee, going makeup-free, taking moments of silence every day, and watching the sunrise. 🌅☕️🧘‍♀️This is my gentle season. I am consciously aware of my thoughts, especially in times like these where I have been sick for months and can feel angry for not recovering at the pace I’d like. This season of my life is teaching me to be patient, gentle, and to have more gratitude in life for the simple things- like energy to walk to a coffee shop or waking up without pain. And even waking up at all! These are all blessings and this period of my life is teaching me to enjoy the blessings more than I ever have. I am choosing to see the divine silver linings of every season of my life. I am looking for the good in everything and it’s making such a positive difference in my life 🤍 What season are you in?? Instead of leaning into my masculine energy by structuring and prepping for this video like I would normally do, I simply turned on the camera and starting speaking about whatever came to mind, in my feminine flow! What do we think?

Note: Masculine and feminine energy has nothing to do with gender or sexuality. We all have both energies, but we usually favor one over the other.

Do people constantly let you down?

It is so easy to hold others to the standard we hold ourselves to. But is that really an effective way to be?

I talk about this in my video Dairy 3 because it’s what I’ve experienced. Its how I thought for the majority of my life thus far (and it’s still a work in progress).

But there’s always another way.

Your standards are YOUR standards. They’re for YOU. Not others. Forgiving others and accepting them as they are is not only beneficial to you, your stress levels, or your emotional well-being, but also a better way to operate with others as it is a much kinder way of interacting.

It’s the only solution to being constantly let down.
