One of my favorites ✨

This gorgeous waterfall is only 2 hours from Raleigh, and it is absolutely worth the drive! Plus, it’s in a great location for visiting Pilot Mountain, Visit Winston-Salem and even Mt. Airy!

Located in Hanging Rock State Park, Lower Cascade Falls is a 35’ tall waterfall reached via a shot and easy 0.4 mile hike making it less than a mile hike out and back!

Not only that, but there are several waterfalls within the park including 3 near the Visitor’s Center!

I love Hanging Rock. It’s one of my favorite parks to visit.

This is the one ✨

Of course this is MY opinion, but there is something just so magical about walking behind this waterfall! It takes my breath away every time I visit. I love it so much!!

Info 👇🏼

Dry Falls, located on the Cullasaja River in the Nantahala National Forest, is an accessible, 75-foot waterfall. Those who visit can walk directly behind it. Located on scenic highway 64, it’s near some of the most visited falls in North Carolina and perfect to see when visiting Franklin or Highlands!

There is a $3 fee to pay to park, and the list is small, so go early! It gets very busy, but always worth the visit!
