Once again, we’ll kick things off with an Open Decks situation from 9:30-10:30. Plan on a fifteen minute set worth of vinyl that fits the theme. Slots to be filled on a first come first serve basis. Sign in when you get there.

Oak City Soul was started with the intention of being a DJ social club of sorts with a focus on the shared love of vinyl. To promote, provide, and continuously dig for deeper vibes in the city of Raleigh. If you enjoy digging in dusty crates of records looking for gems, this is the perfect event for you.

DJ Rhymic, the gentleman disc jockey is back to rock the decks with an ALL-VINYL set of Afro-Latin House, Cumbia, Global Bass, Hiphop edits, Dancehall & Cumbia to get you on the dance floor to shake it all off!
Once again, joining him will be some Afro-Latin percussionists to help set the vibe.

Oak City Soul was created to be a collaborative from the jump. At the time of its inception I didn’t know of too many folks who spun vinyl in the area. I guess I had the “if you build it they will come” mentality and I believe it’s worked! It’s taken some time but I’ve been fortunate to find other like-minded folks who I’ve worked with in different capacities over the last few years with a real appreciation for vinyl.

This Thursday!!! I’d like to invite you to to meet some of the crew (if you don’t know them already) for a selector showcase. I’d like to welcome .citrus .forno to the OCS fam.
I’m stoked to continue to promote, provide, & constantly dig for deeper vibes in the city of Raleigh with y’all.
