US President Donald J Trump Orders Powerful and Deadly Strike Against ISIS Terrorist Scum in Northwest Nigeria.

President Trump.....“Tonight, at my direction as Commander in Chief, the United States launched a powerful and deadly strike against ISIS Terrorist Scum in Northwest Nigeria, who have been targeting and viciously killing, primarily, innocent Christians, at levels not seen for many years, and even Centuries! I have previously warned these Terrorists that if they did not stop the slaughtering of Christians, there would be hell to pay, and tonight, there was. The Department of War executed numerous perfect strikes, as only the United States is capable of doing. Under my leadership, our Country will not allow Radical Islamic Terrorism to prosper. May God Bless our Military, and MERRY CHRISTMAS to all, including the dead Terrorists, of which there will be many more if their slaughter of Christians continues.

DONALD J. TRUMP
PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA"

Lawmakers Intensify Pressure on Speaker Koon, Deputy Speaker Fallah

At least 22 lawmakers from the Majority Bloc have reaffirmed their decision to boycott the State of the Nation Address and the official opening of the House of Representatives scheduled for January.

The lawmakers, who support Speaker Richard N. Koon, confirmed the decision on Tuesday during their second meeting held in the Rehab Community, noting that the boycott will remain in force despite ongoing political engagements at the Capitol.

Earlier, during a meeting at the Police Academy Community, the group reportedly discussed plans to remove both the Speaker and the Deputy Speaker of the House.

At their most recent meeting, the lawmakers cited what they described as poor leadership by Speaker Richard N. Koon, Deputy Speaker Thomas Fallah, as well as the leadership of the Ways, Means and Finance Committee and the Rules, Order and Administration Committee.

They also raised concerns over the alleged mistreatment of Central Administration staff, personal staffers, and Plenary Secretariat employees, particularly regarding the implementation of recent salary increases.

Additionally, the lawmakers expressed concern that many civil servants did not receive their salaries during the festive season, a situation they said deprived workers and their families of the joy traditionally associated with the holidays.

The Majority Bloc lawmakers have now aligned themselves with members of the Minority Bloc, giving the minority sufficient numbers to initiate moves aimed at removing both the Speaker and the Deputy Speaker.

The Director for Safety and Monitoring of Medicines and Vaccines at the Liberia Medicines and Health Products Regulatory Authority (LMHRA), Dr. James D. K. Goteh, has warned the public against purchasing medicines sold in buckets or on market tables.

Dr. Goteh explained that such medicines are unsafe because they are often exposed to heat and poor storage conditions, which reduce their quality and effectiveness.

He added that the LMHRA continues to intensify public awareness campaigns nationwide to discourage the sale and use of unregulated medicines.

Dr. Goteh made the statement recently in an interview with a team of reporters in Belefania, Zota District, on the sidelines of a program marking the close of the Zota Youth Association’s clean-up exercise.

Liberia: "22 Lawmakers Meet to Seek Removal of Speaker, Deputy Speaker

Reports reaching us indicate that at least twenty-two (22) lawmakers met in the Police Academy community today to discuss plans aimed at removing the Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives.

According to sources, the meeting brought together several representatives from the majority bloc who have now aligned with members of the minority bloc over what they describe as growing concerns about leadership and accountability within the House.

The sources disclosed that the lawmakers have agreed to jointly sign a ten-count resolution calling for the removal of the following officials:

The Speaker of the House of Representatives

The Deputy Speaker

Four (4) members of the Ways, Means, and Finance Committee

One (1) member of the Rules and Order Committee

It is further reported that the twenty-two aggrieved lawmakers, most of whom belong to the majority bloc loyal to Speaker Richard Koon, cited several reasons for their decision. These include alleged lack of accountability, poor and irresponsible leadership, marginalization of members, usurpation of committee functions, and alleged financial malpractices, among others.

As part of their agreed actions, the lawmakers have resolved to initially boycott the President’s upcoming State of the Nation Address (SONA). They have also agreed to deny Speaker Koon a quorum in future sittings of the House as a means of pressing their demands.

Another meeting is pending tomorrow... ✍️"

Sports:
B**g and Montserrado Counties have 65 minutes remaining to decide who advances to the quarterfinal stage of the 2025/2026 National County Sports Meet (NCSM).

A victory for either county will determine the fate of Gbarpolu County. However, a 2–2 draw, combined with discipline in avoiding additional yellow cards, will see both B**g and Montserrado Counties advance to the next stage of the competition.

Montserrado County was leading 2–1 in the 25th minute when the match was postponed due to disruptions caused by some fans, believed to be supporters of Gbarpolu County.

The uncertainty over which teams will qualify from Group D will be resolved on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at the Samuel Kanyon Doe (SKD) Sports Complex, with kickoff scheduled for 4:00 PM.

Gbarnga: Out-of-town marketers in B**g County have raised alarm over a sharp increase in table registration fees imposed by the Liberia Marketing Association (LMA), B**g Branch.

According to the marketers, the LMA has over the years consistently increased table registration fees across the six markets where they operate in the county.

They explained that the LMA is now demanding LD 2,000 per table for registration, up from the previous LD 700, adding that they have not benefited from the fees they have been paying.

The Liberia Marketing Association has not yet responded to the concerns raised by the marketers.

Ma Quita Jackson’s Death: Lead Campaigner Calls for Fair Probe, Urges Suakoko Residents to Remain Calm

Written by: Melvin Paylee Zico Siakor /[email protected]

Money S. Doloyuwah, one of the lead campaigners seeking justice in the death of Ma Quita Jackson, is calling for a fair and impartial investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death, while appealing to residents of Suakoko to remain calm.

According to Mr. Doloyuwah, residents of Suakoko are deeply shocked by the death of Ma Quita Jackson.

Ma Jackson, believed to be in her early 70s, reportedly went missing on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, in Suakoko. After several search efforts, her lifeless body was discovered on Saturday, December 13, 2025 in a nearby bush around the Conqueror Community in Suakoko City, close to the cemetery, about a forty-five-minute walk from her home.

A fifteen-member coroner’s jury was subsequently set up by the Liberia National Police to examine the body. The jury reported that no foul play was involved. However, the report has sparked mixed reactions among residents, many of whom say they do not trust the findings, claiming visible marks were observed on parts of her body, including her ears and eyes.

In response, residents of Suakoko District, predominantly women, expressed disappointment and drew national attention to the matter by setting up a roadblock on the Suakoko Highway on Sunday, December 14.

It is further reported that members of the coroner’s jury are currently undergoing police investigation in relation to their report.

Meanwhile, Mr. Doloyuwah continues to appeal to residents to remain patient as investigations into the death of Ma Quita Jackson continue.
