Guilford County State Representative has been arrested and charged with indecent liberties with a child and statutory r*pe, according to the Guilford County Detention Center.

Brockman, who represents Guilford County in the NC House of Representatives, is expected in court Thursday following his arrest on Wednesday.

The last escaped inmate from New Orleans has been caught!

27-year-old Derrick Groves, a convicted killer, was captured in Southwest Atlanta after a tense standoff with U.S. Marshals and Atlanta Police.

Groves had been on the run since May 16, after breaking out of the Orleans Justice Center with nine other inmates.

Groves was convicted for a 2018 Mardi Gras double murder, when he and others opened fire with AK-47–style rifles during what should’ve been a family celebration. He’s now facing life in prison.

Outrage in Edgecombe County — a teaching assistant has been arrested for allegedly strangling and striking a 5-year-old child with autism at G.W. Bulluck Elementary School.

Authorities say 47-year-old attacked the young student as he was preparing to get on the school bus.

Gray is charged with assault by strangulation, assault on a disabled person, and child abuse. She was released from jail on a $20,000 secured bond and is currently out pending trial.

The school district confirms she is no longer employed following the disturbing allegations.

Investigators say the incident happened on September 12, but was reported weeks later.

[VIDEO] : Motel Owner Gunned Down in Pittsburgh

Indian business owner Rakesh Bhagavan, 50, was tragically shot and killed on October 3, 2025, at the Pittsburgh Motel, which he owned.

Police say Stanley West shot a woman at the motel, prompting Rakesh to step outside to check what was happening — only for Stanley to walk up and shoot him point-blank in the head, killing him instantly.

West was found about 90 minutes later and exchanged gunfire with police — injuring one officer before being shot and taken into custody.

Rakesh leaves behind three daughters.

OMG! RALEIGH SERIAL STALKER BACK AT IT AGAIN!!!

You can’t make this up. A man identified as 27-year-old of Raleigh, NC, was arrested AGAIN for stalking the same woman he was already caught stalking months ago.

Bull—whose last name ironically fits his behavior was picked up by Wake County authorities on October 6, 2025, after Durham Police issued new warrants. Despite a clear court order to stay away, Bull just had to text the victim, identified as P.B. [Talk about not learning your lesson.]

He was given a $5,000 bond, (although Wake County Jail site lists NO BOND.) which many are calling an insult to the safety of women in the community. Magistrate Judge T. Kyle even noted Bull’s multiple stalking charges and a concealed weapon charge on his record. Yet somehow… he’s still able to post bond and roam our communities free.

People across Raleigh, Durham, Fayetteville, and Charlotte are furious that this repeat offender keeps slipping through the cracks and terrorizing women like it’s a full-time job.

One woman, who wished to remain anonymous, told Unplugged TV that Bull allegedly followed her from Stratus Gentlemen’s Club in Fayetteville all the way to a gas station in Lumberton—that’s over an hour’s drive! She says when she realized he was behind her, she grabbed her pepper spray and warned him to back off or get seasoned like Sunday dinner.

We’ve reviewed video from the incident—it’s grainy, but the fear in her voice says it all.

👉 This is NOT okay.
👉 This is NOT normal.
👉 And this man clearly needs a permanent seat behind bars before another woman becomes a headline.

Police in Valdosta, Georgia say a 2-year-old boy was mauled to death by two Rottweilers at an unlicensed daycare while the owner was allegedly asleep.

According to investigators, 48-year-old left the toddler unattended for over two hours, during which he wandered into the backyard and opened a kennel housing the dogs.

By the time authorities arrived, it was too late. The child identified by his mother, , as her only son was found dead at the scene.

Police say Cobb often watched up to 10 children daily without a license. She’s now charged with second-degree murder and child cruelty.

“This was a horrible and tragic event that should have never occurred,” said Valdosta Police Chief Leslie Manahan.

Kaimir’s mother described the moment she arrived to find police swarming the home after hours of silence “I found my baby like this.”

This tragedy raises serious questions about illegal daycares operating with no oversight or safety standards.

A man will spend the rest of his life behind bars after being convicted of multiple child s*x crimes.

Suspect: Dennis Jerel Sullivan, 41, of Fayetteville, NC

Sullivan was found guilty on:
• 3 counts of Statutory R*pe of a Child (ages 13–15)
• 3 counts of S*x Offense with a Child (ages 13–15)
• 3 counts of In**st with a Child
• 1 count of In**st

The investigation began in March 2024 when a juvenile victim reported years of s*xual abuse to medical staff at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. DNA evidence collected during a S*xual Assault Kit linked Sullivan to the crimes.

Detectives from the Department’s Youth Services & Special Victims Unit arrested Sullivan in June 2024.

After a detailed trial, Superior Court Judge R. Hicks sentenced Sullivan to 150–210 years in prison.

Justice has been served.

Four men have been arrested after officials say they were found on the campus of North Carolina A&T State University near Cooper Hall which is a residential hall for students with loaded fi****ms two of which was reported stolen.

According to authorities, the following individuals were charged:

- Jaimeek Elijah Pettiford (19) - Weapon on educational property | § Bond: $65,000

- Zachari Leereik Bowser-Strong (19) — Ma*****na possession, weapon on school grounds, possession of stolen firearm, carrying concealed weapon | No bond

- Cameron Andrew Jeffries (21) — Weapon on educational property, possession of stolen firearm | No bond

- Jikwon Davontae Bradsher (22) — Felon in possession of firearm, weapon on educational property | No bond

Law enforcement officials say the investigation is ongoing as this is the start of the festival for NCA&T homecoming.

A male school bus driver, known to students as “Ms. Sharon,” has been arrested and hit with multiple child s*x crime charges.

Authorities say is accused of s*xually assaulting at least four boys all between 14 and 15 years old after allegedly luring them to his home.

Tate faces two counts of statutory r*pe and six counts of indecent liberties with a minor.

Investigators believe there may be more victims.

His bond was set to $1 million & he remains in custody
