I believe in equality and earning your position in the horror industry, especially as a journalist. What I can't stand are people who whine about things like "it's not fair he gets all those screeners! He should give them to the site so they can be distributed to everyone!" and "why does he get that interview opportunity? I wanted that opportunity!" or "why is he getting all the movie quotes on DVD's and posters? I want that!".

News flash: I (as well as a few other men I know in the industry) got/get my opportunities because for over twenty years I have busted my ass, got rejected 100's of times and kept driving forward. Nothing has been handed to me. I didn't get my chances simply because I am a man. I busted my ass for them and I am not inclined to give up on my hard work because someone feels entitled without putting in the effort and time or feels like blaming the patriarchy. Stop playing the victim and put in the work to earn your position...

As many of you know, a short film I worked on with VisionTwenty Films based out of Durham and Raleigh, North Carolina was entered into the HorrorCircle Launch Festival and the results came back! Thank you and congratulations to Josh Vtf, Marq Horton and Jonathon Leach and to the rest of the amazing cast and crew! It was great working with you!
