Super excited for today’s podcast. Charlotte has its share of power players, but few do it like Jeff Tonidandel & Jamie Brown.

What stands out isn’t just the restaurants, the TV show, the book, podcast or the accolades, it’s how they handle the hard stuff. They’ve built their business (and their marriage) by embracing challenges, learning from the setbacks, and keeping forward momentum no matter what.

No ego. No shortcuts. Just consistency, humility, and a commitment to getting better every day.

That’s what makes them different. You’ll know them best from these places.:land .tv and so much more. Have a listen on all platforms or watch us on YouTube or

🎙️🥂 Today Marks NINE Years of the North Carolina Food & Beverage Podcast!

Nine years, over 500 episodes, countless chefs, farmers, bartenders, winemakers, brewers, restaurateurs, and creative hustlers later… and we’re still here doing what we love:
telling the stories of the people who feed the Carolinas.

What started as a passion project has become a community, one I’m proud to help build “most” weeks. From oyster shuckers to Michelin-recognized chefs, from hole-in-the-wall gems to hospitality legends, thank you for trusting us with your stories and your time.

And to everyone who’s listened, shared an episode, appeared on the show, partnered with us, or just said “hey, I love the podcast” at an event,
you’re the reason this thing keeps going.

Here’s to nine years down… and many more plates, pours, and conversations to come. 🥂🍽️
