Nothing beats cooking a hot English breakfast by the lake while solo camping. 🍳🏕️

This peaceful camping morning included eggs, baked beans, sausage, tomatoes, and fresh bread with an incredible waterfront view. Sometimes the best part of camping isn’t the destination—it’s slowing down and enjoying a simple meal in nature.

No lighter. No matches. Just a fire striker and a little patience.

On this solo camping trip, I challenged myself to start a campfire using a ferro rod for the very first time. It took a few tries, but finally seeing those sparks catch made the experience even more rewarding.

There’s something satisfying about slowing down, learning a new outdoor skill, and enjoying nature one step at a time.
