This week’s reminder:

Misalignment does not always stop you.

Sometimes it just wears you down while you are still moving.

You can still be busy.

Still productive.

Still showing up.

Still making things happen.

But if you are constantly correcting, compensating, overexplaining, overworking, and fighting the same pull, something needs attention.

This week, ask yourself:

Where did I spend energy correcting something that needs to be realigned?

That answer may show you what needs to change next.

Everything hard is not misaligned.

Some things are hard because they are stretching you.

Some things are hard because they require discipline.

Some things are hard because they are forcing you to become the person you said you wanted to be.

But misalignment feels different.

Misalignment keeps pulling you away from what you said matters.

Growth may challenge you.

But misalignment drains you.

That distinction matters.

Before you quit something just because it is uncomfortable, ask:

Is this stretching me, or is this pulling me away from who I am becoming?

It takes more effort to control.

Just because they can't see the vision does not mean your vision is not worth pursuing.

Stop letting people who are afraid to pursue their dreams, keep you from pursuing yours.

Stepping out and doing something new is already scary; having someone question your choices makes it harder. But when you are clear on what you want it really makes setting boundaries easier.

Have you ever driven a car that was out of alignment? It pulled to the left or the right.
If you're smart you know not to take your hands off the steering wheel or you will veer into the other lane.

Will it still get you to the destination? YUP but it requires extra work!

That's the same way it is living a life that is out of alignment. You may eventually acomplish your goals but look at the hell you have to go through to get there!

Your misalignment is costing you. Time, Energy, Money, Confidence. Momentum.

There are layers to my personality that not everyone gets to see. Professionally, I am known for being bold, optimistic, strategic, and self-reliant - the quintessential leader.

However, there is a more personal side that only a few are privy to, which is more delicate, emotional, and vulnerable.

While I don't hide this side, I've learned to protect it from those who might exploit it.
