When our loved ones experience anxiety, even if the situation isn’t real, we try to find ways to redirect. My goal is for dad to always stay calm and so I’ll redirect him however I need to in order to achieve that! That usually includes just going along with it.

Instead of reminding dad of the past and continuing to cause worry and stress, we tend to focus on the present and how we can heal. Love the movie 50 First Dates though 😂
