“I’m looking at these people and saying I really want them to get rid of the weight them came in to the show with,” he says. “They come from work or family things, and lose themselves in ninety minutes of pure enjoyment. They escape from what the world says you have to do and have a moment of fun, clean bliss. They remember what it means to laugh.”
