Bike park season is OFFICIALLY OVER and now we are back to riding local spots again. We have gotten very used to sitting on the lift to the top of the mountain and getting to just focus on riding downhill. Well folks, we are back to earning each and every one of the downhills that we get to enjoy. We are out of shape and will take some time to get back to where we were. Getting paced by the deer was really cool and it was awesome to run into many friends out on the trails. Hope to see you guys out there this winter.

We got out as a group of 5 about a week before the fire started that shut down Snow Summit currently. The day was amazing and we had some of the best runs together so far. Everyone was feeling good and riding in their prime. Im very stoked for Brent as he decided that he was ready to start hitting some of the larger lips (tombstones) on Blue Steel. I really enjoy Blue Steel and I am looking forward to the group progressing our way onto Westridge in the near future.

I was finally able to make it back up to Snow Summit again to face the NEW FEATURES on Westridge. I had thought about the new features literally every day since I got to ride them last. They are a little intimidating but I can assure you now, they are a ton of fun. This was also my buddy Justin's first time at Snow Summit. Justin is an animal. He jumped (quite literally) right in and led us down Blue Steel sending all the jumps along the way. I was able to clear 6 more jumps on Westridge this trip and hope by the end of the season to be able to clear the whole trail.

I finally got up to Snow Summit and got to see firsthand what all the commotion has been over the new features on Westridge. I was very excited to try them out and man did they not disappoint!! I'm definitely going to have to get more comfortable on them but they were a great addition to a already fantastic trail. I can't wait to get back up there again and hit it over and over again.

Bike Park season is finally here in So Cal!!! I am so excited to focus on my downhill progression and not have to kill myself climbing to the top every time on my analog bike ha ha. We got a small group up to Snow Valley the day after my 40th and went out to master the jumps on Wi******er. Each lap was faster and smoother than the last. I can't wait to finally get up to Snow Summit next week and get to try the new features there on Westridge. Mastering Blue Steel and Westridge is our next mission together.

Blue Skies, Fun Bikes, and a lift to the Top every lap. The boys and I had a great time at today ripping together. We got really good at the blue jumpline (Wi******er) by the end and no one is going home injured.

Last weekend Brent, Justin, and I headed up to Skypark Bike Park to see how things have changed in the last few months. We heard there were changes to the jumpline (Neverland) that we were excited to see and try out. Justin and I were not disappointed. The only bummer of the day was the fact that 2 of us broke chains and had to call it quits early. Brent broke his while climbing and I bent mine when it came loose on the jumpline.

Our good friend Javier Mymtbvideo joined us for one last hot lap around Santiago Oaks before he moved up north. I have counted myself lucky to have had the opportunity to meet and ride with Javier . He brings such a fun vibe to every ride Ive joined him on. We will miss you friend. Im grateful that though social media we can still experience each others rides and successes. I wish you all the best and look forward to the day we get to ride together again. Norcal just got quite the upgrade when they got you.

Brent, Andy, Justin and I started our day off early meeting up at the Dog Park in San Clemente but ultimately it was too wet to ride there. We decided to try our luck in Aliso Woods. The rocky terrain there sheds water off fast and we were hopeful to get some clean laps in. As we were approaching the top, we ran into a few other friends from the Generation MTB Facebook group. We joined together and sent some really fun party laps together.
