The board is charged with exploring all questions relating to the implementation of the Shelter as
well as policies to be used in connection with the Shelter and making recommendations to
Council.

This committee shall champion the economic development of the Route 130 Corridor, Willingboroโs internal commercial corridors and our industrial quadrant with the goals of improving the quality
of the lives of the Township residents, attracting private investments to create jobs and expanding the tax base and adaptively reusing underutilized and vacant commercial property.

The Board will advise Council on how to combat drug and substance abuse, especially among young citizens, and to conduct programs to reach out to educate young citizens on the dangers of drug and substance abuse.

The Committee will work with the surrounding municipalities to review the Corridor planning and analyses of current conditions and trends, and participate in identifying current and future
constraints and opportunities for the Township and the Corridor, contribute toward the articulation of future vision and goals for the Corridorโs quality of life, participate in developing recommendations for policy objectives and implementation strategies for the Township of Willingboro and the Corridor, and review and recommend an update to the River Route Regional
Strategic Revitalization Plan for future endorsement by the Township Council. *Consists of 5 members (1 council liaison and 4 representatives) โ 1-year term

Commission works with Council and the community in the interest of promoting growth by
planting and maintaining shade trees to develop beautiful neighborhoods throughout the
Township.

The Authority shall have all the duties and obligations imposed under the Municipal Utilities Authorities Law of the State of New Jersey (N.J.S.A 40:14B-1 to 40:14B-69). Members of the WMUA receive compensation.
