Cappadonna & U-God were headed to the studio one day, RZA's studio that ended up flooding, this was before that though. Anyways they get there and RZA playing this track with Ghost & Rae on it. RZA told Cappadonna he needed to get on the track but he declined, RZA persisted though like, nah I really want you on this, I could hear you on it, so Cappadonna said ok, he wrote his verse on the spot and like 10 to 15 minutes later Method Man shows up and lays down the chorus. That song was "Ice Cream" and it was Cappadonna's recording debut. They also ended up choosing it as a single too, and while he thought he wasn't ready for all that, we know he was and the rest is history.
