Good afternoon everyone here again from Baltimore, I bring you good news again. I just received this super exciting news that the Rector of the Almighty Polytechnic Ibadan, has according to his words, Wholeheartedly accepted our invitation for partnership. The Rector assured that he will do everything within his position to ensure that participants from the polytechnic receive maximum financial assistance from government. Thank you to College Professor Dr Yusuf and everyone of you who made this possible. I believe this will inspire us from putting in more effort towards the successful implementation of this project. Hey guys, a very big congratulations we have hit a milestone. And a special thanks to Dr Mathias Azoua from University of Parakou, Republic of Benin 🇧🇯. I also appreciate the guys in Republic of Benin and Republic of Niger for their high sense of enthusiasm towards this project.
I have received a positive response from National University of Sciences, Engineering, Technology and Mathematics, agreeing to partner with us in this project. The Vice Chancellor in charge of collaboration, emphasized that the theme of the conference is in line with the principles for which the university was established. Guys let’s click glasses and let this strengthen us to forge ahead. They have requested for the terms of reference of the agreement. Thank you all again.

Dr Chris Ngige, the minister of Labour and productivity has said that before his tenure ends, he will ensure that public universities in Nigeria implement the full university autonomy structure. Although universities have been granted autonomy, Nigerian public universities are lazy to implement the policy. If they are forced to implement the policy, the university system will be forced to scout for talented academics and professionals who would genuinely contribute to the growth of the universities. Currently, lecturers in public universities are blocking talents from joining the universities. Because they’re been spoonfed by government.
