Wild, I don’t know how to describe the feeling. With my oldest daughter her sports ended before we could celebrate it, or think about it. Now with my son, it was wild to see him trot out on the field for the last time. It’s wild to think he’s living in the phase of, “yeah back when” kind of days now. I’ve watch this kid play on some bad football teams and learn a lot. I’ve watched him moss people playing tight end in midget football and help propel the team to a championship. I’ve watch him dedicate his life to football for years. Working hard, stepping up when needed. There wasn’t a spot he hasn’t played on a football field except maybe CB N Safety. Even in high school. Wasn’t a part of the line he hasn’t played, both sides. He can take his helmet off and say he played hard, did what was asked and never backed down with honor. That’s what I’d like to see from a man. I kept getting emotional that whole last game. Just watching him warm up, watching him run out there with his team. It’s wild to see what he’s become. There’s no words to describe how proud I am. Nothing really prepares you for this. I never did half the stuff he has done. But that’s kind of the plan, make them better right? Well thanks to a lot of help he’s surpassed most all goals I could have dreamed up. Now we have baseball!
