This past weekend Ya boy placed 2nd place above 13 other competitors 🥈🏆✨
I’m proud of my accomplishments and how much it took just to place 2nd above 13 other competitors around the region, I wish I placed first but second is good enough for now! lol we’ll come back bigger and better for sure! ❤️
Now I know what I’m capable of and what to work on and how it feels being on stage in front of a large crowd AND my very first taste of VICTORY!. This is only the beginning 💪🏾

Shoutout to the Sicangu Oyate (Rosebud Sioux Tribe) for their kind words and generosity. They gifted me with an awesome shirt that has the late honorable Spiritual leader for the American Indian Movement, “Chief Leonard Crow Dog”.

Leonard Crow Dog (August 18, 1942 – June 5, 2021) was a Lakota medicine man and spiritual leader. He became well known during the Lakota takeover and occupation of the town of Wounded Knee on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota in 1973, known as the Wounded Knee Incident. Through his writings and teachings, he sought to unify Indian people of all nations. As a practitioner of traditional herbal medicine and a leader of Sun Dance ceremonies, Crow Dog was dedicated to keeping Lakota traditions alive.

His family was kind and respectful. I appreciate their support and I take their gift and kind gesture as a blessing as a Navajo Man.
